Job Description

Client process consultant with process simulation modelling skills. Responsible for evaluating profit improvement opportunities for our clients’ petrochemical, refinery, oil and gas facilities. Collect and reconcile plant data from multiple sources to create unit and/or facility-wide models.

Work well as a member of project teams, be able to develop Petro-SIM™ whole facility simulations and integrate the unit models submitted by Process Technology Specialist team members. May also utilize other Client property simulation tools to support planning and energy activities.

Qualifications:
BSc or equivalent in Chemical Engineering and a minimum of 3-5 years relevant process experience in a petroleum refinery, petrochemical or oil and gas operations and/or in a process engineering environment.
Process simulation modelling skills are required. Skills in use of LP modelling and energy tools would be helpful. Knowledge/experience should include some of the following:

• Petrochemicals • Hydroprocessing Technologies • Equipment Design
• Process Simulation • Lube Oil Production • Energy Systems
• Planning Systems

You must be able to travel internationally for periods of 2-3 weeks, averaging 25% a year with some peak period travel. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential. An understanding of refinery economics, advanced degrees, professional engineering certificate, and fluent in a second language are pluses.
