Job Description

One of the largest petrochemical companies in the world, operating 16 R&D laboratories in 40 countries, with annual revenues of about 50 billion US dollars. This Technology Center's mission is catalyst discovery and development plus process R&D aimed at processes designed to manufacture commodity chemicals from petrochemical feedstocks.

Currently seeking an Experienced Researcher to help explore a portfolio of projects related to catalytic process; including alternative feedstock technologies with a specific focus on increasing the competitiveness of our global assets. To support and develop these projects, this role will provide leveraged expertise for leading the development of new technologies. The successful candidate will also be expected to help implement the corporate R&D strategies for new process development and improvement to meet the critical feedstock needs of Candidates should have the following:
• Ph.D. degree in Chemistry/Engineering
• 10+ years of Industrial research experience
• Strong research background in chemistry and engineering with a thorough understanding of the commercialization process
• Strong and diverse knowledge base in reactor design, catalyst synthesis, and analytical methods
• Familiar with common research and technology processes
• Demonstrated ability to lead research efforts in a team setting CLIENT Track record of innovation and successful program technical development and
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Research experiences in alternative feedstock's or heterogeneous (preferred) catalysis are very highly desired
• An exceptional reputation of proven scientific excellence is required for this position (publications, patents, presentations, etc.).
