Job Description

A minimum of 5 years of related experience is required. A PMP designation would be highly desirable. A good understanding of facility and pipeline design, construction and project management.
• 5+ years design or operational experience with onshore oil & gas surface facilities and pipelines (enhanced oil recovery, CO2 production, CO2 transport, or CO2 injection experience is a plus)
• Engineering degree
• Excellent computer skills with Office programs
• Excellent reasoning, analytical and technical skills• Able to communicate both orally and in writing with good interpersonal skills
• Able to actively organize and effectively facilitate team meetings, design reviews, vendor meetings, and workshops
• Highly organized and able to prioritize issues and focus on multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven ability to coordinate and lead intercompany and contract personnel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced highly changing environment
• Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s) and lead personnel, focus attention on details, follow work rules, and adhere to established work schedules. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Integrate surface facilities and pipeline plans with other disciplines in the areas of HSE, land/leasing, permitting, subsurface development, drilling, completions, well hook-ups, utilities, and pipeline(s)
• Weekly reporting of project status updates to Director-CO2 Source Development.
• Full implementation and adherence to the Co. CO2 stage gate Project Delivery System
• Plan and recruit for the organizational structure resources required to deliver the planned activities
• Integration of the facilities group with the other functions
• Forecasting, budget creation and control of the capital expenditures ensuring the projects are delivered on time and on budget
• Close coordination with Purchasing to ensure that engineering consultants, equipment, materials and labor suppliers are in place and can be delivered effectively
• Management of key contractors and vendors including engineering firms, construction contractors and equipment suppliers
• Ensure adherence to facilities best practices including peer reviews, drawing reviews, HAZOPs, HAZID?s, risk assessments
• Drive business and safety improvement through performance measurement and review
• Ensure the proper design process is followed
• Perform other duties as assigned
