Job Description

Primary Purpose:
• Engineering support for a large cross country pipeline and associated facilities.
• Technical resource in support of: pipeline and facility design
• Assist Project Management by coordinating and interacting with other groups
• Provide oversight and assistance for Federal State and other governing bodies permit and regulatory requirements.
• Field engineering support during construction and execution of the project.

• Project Design. Direct and manage internal and external design resources for completion of project designs.
• Review technical proposals
• Develop detailed project schedule and update during engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Provide bid packages to procurement for competitive bidding and provide technical review and recommendations.
• Manage the project execution team consisting of construction manager, construction inspectors, site safety personnel
• Manage project costs and assist project controls and project management with required project reporting.
• Leadership role in the field to ensure safety of all Co. and Contractor employees.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical or petroleum) or equivalente.
• Training in project management.

• 6 to 10 years experience with emphasis in pipeline design, construction, & operation.
• Knowledge of hazardous liquids and CO2 systems including engineering design, construction, pipeline hydraulics,
• Working knowledge of applicable regulations and agencies such as DOT, OSHA, and various state counterparts.
• Familiarity with NEC, ASME, API, NFPA and ASTM specifications, standards, and recommended practices. cathodic protection systems, metal loss inspection tools and criteria.
• Strong presentation and report writing skills.
• The position may require frequent travel.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
• Professional Engineering (P.E) is desired but not required
Competencies, Skills, and Abilities:
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Physical Demands: Able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions and carry up to 50 pound
