Job Description

Identify, develop, close, and manage significant consulting engagements in assigned strategic accounts in the gas production, processing and LNG sector
Experience Required
• 10+ years in gas production, gas processing or LNG
• MBA or Corporate Member/Fellow of Engineering Institute
• Management Consulting experience desirable
Client Relationship Management
• Communicates with client at highest levels to ensure that a healthy relationship is developed and sustained
• Acts as Project Executive Sponsor, Project Manager or Project QC for major engagements
• Becomes a “trusted advisor” to Client senior management
Business Development
• Acts as a strategic and technical advisor to client company team(s)
• Participates in visits/meetings with Client senior executives and managers
• Helps Client team(s) to create and develop significant, integrated solutions or long term engagements
• Participate in developing consulting engagement sales
• Spend in excess of 500 hours per year on business development
Engagement/Program/Project Related
• Supervision/Project Management of large engagements, programs and projects (>£1MM)
• Establish Governance model for large engagements
• Adopt an Executive Sponsor or QC role for large engagements or act as Project Manager or billable subject matter expert (SME)
• Sets/updates project targets reflecting contractual commitments
• Oversee development of project/work plans, define resourcing requirements and individual team member roles and responsibilities
• Attend Executive Steering Committee Meetings
• Review progress/plans with business line management
• Ensure compliance of engagements/programs/projects to Project Management Guidelines
• Billable hours in excess of 500 per year or billable revenue of more than £150,000 per year.
Client Company Business
• Achieve a high level of awareness of Co's Consulting capabilities and solutions
• Coach/Mentor staff
• Actively lead company Knowledge Management
• Represent company at industry conferences, present papers
• Lead specific company development/improvement activities
• Participate in Regional Leadership team if invited
