Job Description

o Develops and advises on Operations Division Policies, strategies & objectives.
o Advises on LNG & OAG plant and equipment performance to improve availability, reliability and safety.

o Plans, advises and coordinates the activities of assigned personnel in the Operations Division.
o Participates in planning, coordination and recommendation of long and short term production programs in conjunction with the Marketing Division and production plan.
o Advises on the preparation of the annual budget for the Division, monitors expenditure and justifies the variances.
o Advises on specialized contractors activities to ensure quality of workmanship and compliance with HSE & Engineering Standards.
o Reviews existing Operating Procedures/Processes and develops additional ones as required.
o Participates in the planning and coordination of overhaul programmes in conjunction with the Maintenance / Engineering and Integrity & Quality Divisions.
o Optimizes plant operation, initiates plant and equipment modifications and reviews changes proposed by Departments Heads / Team Leaders to improve Plant efficiency & HSE.
o Advises on manpower requirements for the Division ensuring effective implementations of the Emiratization policy.
o Oversees impact of operations on environment by monitoring units, effluents, flaring, emissions and coordinates efforts for Plant-wide compliances with ADNOC and International Standards.
o Undertakes role of Operations Division Manager when required and executes activities accordingly.
o Assists in Competency Assessment of Operations Staff & develops/reviews competency packages.
o Advises on career development of Employees.

B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent Engineering degree.
o 20 years' experience in Operations and Engineering activities in a petrochemical or oil refining or gas/ process industry (& 5/10 yrs + min in LNG), 10 years of which in a Management role.
o Working knowledge of IT Systems used in process industry.
o Very Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
o Good Leadership, Team-building & communication skills.

Remuneration Package:
• Salary negotiable.  (Usually Similar to USA Compensation - Prob $140K/$200K; BUT you work only about 60% of the year & it's mostly Tax Free - meaning you get to deduct the first $93K/year of income from your 1040)
• Leave cycle: 35 days duty on site and 28 days leave with airfare provided.
• Messing and accommodation provided free of charge on the Island.
• Excellent sports/recreational facilities on the Island.
