Job Description

Supervising Operators for various refineries and NGL plants across Saudi Arabia’s Refinery & NGL Fractionation operations. These positions will be based at various locations.

Minimum Requirements
• You will require a completion of formal apprenticeship program or equivalent in the Plant Operations side.
• In addition, you will have a minimum of 11 years of relevant operating and supervisory experience, and thorough knowledge of plant layout and the applicable operations.
• Also, you must possess flexibility to rotate and direct operations in other plants of similar complexity after a reasonable break-in period.

Duties & Responsibilities
As Supervising Operator, you will work at one of the following units: Utilities and WTP Unit, Sulfur Recovery Plant, Crude Complex Unit, Platform Unit, Hydrocracker Unit, Diesel Hydrotreated Unit, and CSF and Tank Farm Unit. Specific duties and responsibilities will include the following:
• Supervise and coordinate plant personnel in startup, shutdown and other major operational changes. The number of personnel supervised varies between 5-10.
• Diagnose and/or troubleshoot particular operating problems, and take necessary courses of action to rectify or improve situations
• Oversee complete plant operation to ensure safe and efficient operating procedures are followed.
• Respond to emergency or plant upset situations by shutting down plant or taking necessary action to restore normal running.
• Oversee maintenance work in progress or completed within the Unit. Ensure that safe procedures are adhered to and that completed work is satisfactory.
