Job Description

Technical lead role to coordinate reservoir engineering, G&G, reserves evaluation, budgeting and performance monitoring related to our Onshore Gulf Coast and Maverick Basin assets. This will include interaction with, communication with, and measuring results for the multidiscipline team. This leadership role will promote delivery of results consistent with the defined goals of the team and management. The Lead will coordinate project assignments by the RE and G&G staff evaluating these assets, monitor training and career development, and perform goal setting and performance evaluation. This will be both a leadership and working role with technical responsibilities.

Actively manage and measure performance related to capital, production volumes and reserves • Coordinate budget preparation and maintain time lines • Update and monitor capital spending, reserve performance, and production with respect to projections • Manage reserve estimates and YE reserve evaluation Coordinate ongoing drilling programs

Insure Team is adequately resourced

• Prepare staffing plan

• Coordinate work areas to develop efficient use of existing manpower • Review and identify the “needs” of the team: Software/Hardware, Training requirements, Team building, Mentoring, Liaison with functional equivalents to insure team is informed and engaged, Corporate Development, Land, Marketing, Operations, Drilling. Coordinate with the New Venture team to assure that key learnings from our existing plays are being utilized Coordinate all of the above with the Asset Manager and keep him/her advised and informed


* Ability to communicate technical data through the preparation and presentation of clear, concise and persuasive oral/written opinions, reports and presentations. * Demonstrated leadership and business skills * Strong ARIES and Excel skills; some experience with Access, Rose, Eclipse and Fekete software preferred * Must have strong technical reservoir engineering background including effective participation in multi-discipline teams, reserves evaluation, and capital/production budgeting * Successful candidate should have some fundamental knowledge of geology, geophysics, and geological operations

Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field is required

Minimum of 10 years of reservoir engineering experience

Must be a US citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card). No visa sponsorships or transfers will be accepted.
