Job Description

Chemical Engineer to work with the Onshore Producing Department.

Provide operation engineering support and technical assistance to Onshore Producing Facilities. This includes day-to-day monitoring and analysis of plant equipment performance, process efficiency, control systems operation, review of new system designs, risk assessment, engineering package review, commissioning of new projects, and the mechanical condition monitoring of rotating equipment.

Requirements
BS ChemE degree
7+ years experience in oil and gas producing facilities with some experience in a lead role.
Experience in process design work, including modeling software experience with Pro II, HYSIS or Aspen.
Able to perform simultaneous task and project coordination for multiple projects with the ability to interface with others.
Excellent analytical, organizational, planning and problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.
Aware of the international piping and pressure vessel codes: ASME, AISC AWS, API, ASTSM and NACE.

Responsibilities
Plan, schedule and provide work direction as required for preparation of designs, processes, reports, correspondence and related data.
Analyze and evaluate data pertinent to problems that occur. 
Evaluates data as to scope, effect on existing installations, economic value, and long range planning and budgetary considerations.
Be involved in review activities of project proposal that includes the development of scope, functions, interrelationships, integration, physical solution definition, cost estimate, etc. 
Recommends new installations or modifications to improve existing facilities and standardization within broad fields of endeavor. 
Develop scope and description of technology items, and leads the implementation and operation of developed solutions in the field.
Handles process studies or design modifications in utilities, oil handling facilities, and occasionally called upon to design or evaluate new process installations.
