Job Description

Senior Inspection Engineer to work in the Corrosion and Inspection Division, oil and gas production. The department provides technical support and consultation services in specialized areas of engineering disciplines of corrosion protection, monitoring and plant inspections for Oil Producing and Operating departments’ facilities to ensure plant integrity and reliability.

BS Mechanical Engineering
4+ years hands-on experience in the oil industry or another process. 
Knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, US Codes Standards and Specifications. 
Must have a minimum of one certification from the following: API 510/API 570/API 653/ AWS/NACE/CSWIP or equivalent.

You will be required to able to perform the following: 
• Plans and implements Plant inspection activities on static equipment, piping’s and pipe lines.
• Develops inspection surveys of existing facilities to standards.
• Schedules, completes and evaluates NDT tests (ultrasonic thickness and flaw detection, acoustic emission, eddy current ,Phased Array and other advance NDT). Reports on condition of vessels, tanks, piping’s, pipe lines and other Oil field Related Equipments.
• Performs inspections at company owned workshop and contractor facilities for pressure safety valves testing, hydro testing, pipe-work and structural work, fabrication & repair of pressure vessel, Re-tubing of Heat Exchanger and all maintenance work.
• Participates in the training and development of assigned trainee Inspectors.
