Job Description

38/28 Day Rotation from your home location
Ideal candidate should be hands on Corrosion Control, RBI, RCA & CP systems, Material selection, Painting Systems as well as Insulation Systems.
• Assist in the management and implementation of the Corrosion Control Strategy covering the corrosion monitoring activities including periodic reporting to provide integrity status of systems and significant trends or limitations.
• Participate in the Risk Based Inspection implementation and update, in order to establish/review inspection strategies.
• Initiate the implementation of corrosion prevention measures in areas of Cathodic Protection, Corrosion Chemical Inhibition, Materials Selection and Painting Systems, as well as Insulation Systems.
• Review and interpret corrosion/inspection monitoring data in database, along with trends and existing mitigation measures. Recommend changes in the corrosion criticality analysis and monitoring/inspection program where appropriate. Ensure all relevant data is entered into the database.
• Participate in the regular review of Corrosion Control Materials and key performance indicators.
• Identify major deterioration threats and ensure integrity limitations are addressed and propose suitable mitigation techniques.
• Initiate and direct activities to support or assist in confirming monitoring data or as the result of failures of equipment or trending predictions.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis and failure investigations.

• B.Sc/Diploma in Corrosion Science, Materials Engineer, Metallurgical Engineer or Chemical Engineer (preferably corrosion).
• Minimum 5 years experience in Oil and Gas Industry with particular emphasis on RBI, RCA, CP systems and corrosion monitoring. Good experience in CP systems design evaluation.
• Good sound practical experience in corrosion and CP monitoring systems.

• Leave cycle: 38/25 days on site/days home (working regular hours while on site.
• Dining at the island restaurnts and bachelor accommodation are provided free of charge while on site.
• Excellent sports/recreational club facilities provided including a 9 hole golf course, fishing, sailing, tennis.
• Salary is negotiable. (Usually Similar to USA Compensation Est. $80/$120K - BUT you work only about 60% of the year & it's Tax Free - meaning you get to deduct the first $93K/year of income)
