Fixed/Stationary Equipment Engineer
HOUSTON, Est. Base Salary $105K/$130K+15/25% bonus

Client Co., is a midstream pipeline and storage company. The job below is for an older ethylene plant the client bought from exxonmobil, in houston and converted it to a modern propylene plant (a much higher profit process)

Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Educational Requirements: BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree.

Essential Skills Required:
Excellent Communication (verbal and written) skills. Good Leadership, Teamwork, Mentoring and Coaching Skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and make decisions. Strong problem solving skills. Must be flexible, understand business needs and adjust to the ever changing demands of the work environment. Results oriented. Must be team oriented and foster teamwork and collaboration.

Qualifications and/or Experience Required:
Minimum 10+ years experience in the petrochemical industry. Well versed in the content and application of the codes that govern the fabrication, assessment and repair of the pressure vessels, piping, tanks and fired equipment commonly used in the petrochemical industry. Requires proven experience in developing and maintaining the sites mechanical integrity program. Well versed in weld procedures, reliability studies, metallurgy, quality assurance and quality control.
